The end result of our research will be the Co-Design Guide for Transforming Ageing Apartment Buildings. The Guide will establish a streamlined process for all participants in a redesign project, from industry professionals to owners, and help them to co-determine the best strategy for their apartment building project. This will assist in adapting and upgrading ageing apartment buildings to better meet changing economic, social and environmental needs.
The Guide will be based on research evidence and pre-tested in the practice contexts of our partner organisations. It will deliver:
- detailed advice,
- codesign methods, and
- specific tools
that can be customised for use in a wide range of apartment housing and redesign scenarios.
